  • 1st: Rev. James Cleveland - Something Got A Hold On Me is released. The Residents later sample it on their album In Between Screams.

March[]

  • 19th: Leonard Cohen's Dress Rehearsal Rag is released. The Residents would later reference the song in The Ghost Snake.

August[]

  • Margaret Smyke introduces Residents. Uninc to her friend from England, Phillip Lithman.
  • Residents. Uninc begins to record their second demo for Warner Brothers, B.S.

September[]

October[]

  • 18th: Residents. Uninc, along with Snakefinger, N. Senada and Peggy Honeydew, makes their live debut at The Boarding House. They're very well received by the audience.
  • 30th: Snakefinger & N. Senada are interviewed by local radio station, KHSC-FM, they perform a track alongside The Residents known as "Cantaten Un Symptomen For Der Saxofoonen Un Violine."
  • 31st: Residents. Uninc perform at the wedding between Snakefinger & Miss Deborah Keadle.

November[]

  • Residents. Uninc submits their second demo album for Warner Bros, once again to no avail. I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony) is released.
