Meet The Residents Wiki

Following the success of Bad Day on the Midway, The Residents released Have a Bad Day, a companion / soundtrack album based on music from the CD-ROM.

The group was also putting together a very ambitious pitch for their next multimedia project, I Murdered Mommy!, which was going to be presented to Bad Day publisher Inscape. However, the market for CD-ROMs was quickly changing toward products of more assurable commercial value, and The Residents' future in game development did not seem so promising.

Aside from this and a film score commission for Lynn Hershman-Leeson's Conceiving Ada, not much else happened in 1996 as the Cryptic Corporation kept themselves busy managing both of their Ralph labels.
