A Sight For Sore Eyes, Vol. 2 is the second instalment in the Sight For Sore Eyes series of retrospective coffee table books featuring images from The Residents' fifty year history, sourced from the expansive Cryptic Corporation archive, and compiled by Aaron Tanner of publisher Melodic Virtue.

The book follows the first instalment in the series, A Sight For Sore Eyes, Vol. 1, which was released in January 2022. Vol. 2 picks up where the last volume ended, following the end of the Mole Show tour in 1983, continuing through to the Disfigured Night series of concerts in 1997.[1] It also textual contributions from numerous figures including Penn Jillette, Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale of DEVO, composer Ego Plum, and many other famous fans.

The book was compiled in the second half of 2022, and had been sent away for printing as of March 14th 2023.[2] It was announced for pre-order in three limited editions in June 2023, with all editions expected to ship on or around August 11th; however due to an expected UPS strike at the end of July, super deluxe editions and international orders began shipping on July 24th.

The standard edition of 2000 copies includes a 7" single featuring the previously unreleased American Composers-era song "That'll Be the Day (Baby Baby)". The deluxe edition (a limited, numbered edition of 550 copies) includes the standard book (signed by The Residents and Tanner) with a 7" picture disc vinyl single featuring "That'll Be the Day (Baby Baby)", and also includes an additional, exclusive 48 page hardbound book, UWEB Newsletters 1988-1993, which collects the complete UWEB fan club newsletters.

The super deluxe edition (an extremely limited, numbered edition of only 50 copies) includes all the contents of the deluxe edition, with two further exclusive items: a 9" x 11.25" art print by Steven Cerio, and a 6" hand-painted polyresin Cube-E Resident figurine. The super deluxe edition sold out within two days of the announcement of the book.
