Absolutely Live 2003 is a compilation album released by Almaviva Records on August 15th 2003, in a limited and numbered edition of 1500 copies.[1]
The album collects various unreleased live tracks, mainly from the early 2000s, with two from the 1990s. The Residents contribute one track, a version of "Wolverines" recorded live in Brooklyn on November 13th 2002.[1] This version of the song was later featured on the Demons Dance Alone DVD, released one month later.
It is part of a series of albums compiled by The Residents' European booking agent Berthold Seliger; most copies were given away free to promoters or others who Seliger worked with. For this reason, residents.com webmaster Big Brother described the album as "a decent challenge" for collectors.[1]
