"Buy Or Die 1980" is the April 1980 issue of Ralph Records' official mail order catalogue. It was the first catalogue in the series to feature an optional 7" sampler EP (also titled Buy Or Die 1980) compiling excerpts from recent Ralph releases.
Sampler EP[]
Issued in April 1980, "Buy Or Die 1980" was the first issue of Ralph Records' Buy Or Die! mail order catalogues to feature an optional 7" sampler EP. The EP featured selections from MX-80 Sound's Out Of The Tunnel, Snakefinger's Chewing Hides The Sound, Tuxedomoon's Half-Mute and The Residents' Eskimo.
It was followed by Buy Or Die 1980½ later in the year.

The EP was released as an optional extra with Ralph Records' April 1980 issue of their official mail order catalogue, Buy Or Die!.
It was reissued as part of the 17x7 The Ralph Singles box set in 1984, along with the three (at the time) other Buy Or Die! EPs.
