The 180 Gs (pronounced one-eighty-Gs), Detroit's most mysterious a cappella group, have done it again! After releasing an album of a cappella versions of the mass media collage pieces of Negativland (180 d'Gs to the Future, 2008 Seeland Records) and tackling Cardiacs' monumental 1996 double album "Sing to God" (Singin' to God, 2018), the Gs are proud to present their cover of The Residents' seminal 1980 release; "Commercial

Album". The 180 Gs have recorded a cappella versions of all 40 one-minute-long songs from this record with the utmost respect for the original album and a heaping helping of their own incomparable flair.
Homer Flynn of the Cryptic Corporation says:
"The thing that's most impressive about the album is that the Gs are not merely imitating the Residents' masterpiece of minimalism, but reinventing it, while staying completely faithful to the source material. Like the originators, the 180 Gs are creating their own alternate musical universe, just as curious and original as that of the Residents". released March 20, 2019
