"Dead Already" is a song by The Residents, and the closing track of their "election day souvenir" EP Dookietown, released on 10" vinyl on November 1st 2024 by Cherry Red Records, MVD Audio and New Ralph Too.
The song was performed live during the group's performance at Exotikon Exotica and Tiki Festival in San Francisco on June 7th 2025. A music video for the song premiered on the streaming platform Night Flight Plus on September 5th 2025, as part of a Residents "video profile".

A music video for "Dead Already", directed by Lali Wilde, premiered on the Night Flight Plus on September 5th 2025 during a weekend-long Residents "takeover" of the streaming platform, as part of a "video profile" (also featuring videos for "Duck Sauce", "The Skeleton Under the Sea" and "The Tale of Two Tupilaqs").
The video had previously been used as the video backdrop for The Residents' performance of the song at the Exotikon Exotica and Tiki Festival in Los Angeles on June 7th 2025.
"Dead Already" is the only one of the four music videos in the video profile which was not created using generative AI, instead featuring a blend of live action footage and stop motion animation. On September 14th, the video was uploaded to YouTube.
