"Duck Sauce" is a song by The Residents, first released to streaming services on September 27th 2024 as a digital single by Cherry Red Records, MVD Audio and New Ralph Too. It is the opening track from the group's upcoming "election day souvenir" EP, Dookietown, expected for release on 10" vinyl in November.
Following the release of the song to streaming services, on October 1st 2024 Psychofon Records released an extremely limited edition "object d'art" featuring an exclusive remix of the song by composer Ego Plum, titled "Duck Sauce Refried".[1]

On September 27th 2024, "Duck Sauce" was released to streaming services as a digital single (labelled "Duck Sauce [Single]" on Spotify and "Duck Sauce - Single" on Apple Music) by Cherry Red Records, MVD Audio and New Ralph Too, as part of the promotion of the forthcoming release of the Dookietown EP.
The release of the single was promoted with two short videos posted to social media featuring excerpts of the song accompanied by AI-generated videos of clowns. The digital single features only "Duck Sauce" with no additional tracks. The cover art accompanying the digital single is the same as the EP.

Ego Plum remix[]
On October 1st 2024, Psychofon Records released a special "Record Object d'Art", in a limited edition of only twenty-five copies, featuring "Duck Sauce Refried", an exclusive remix of "Duck Sauce" by composer Ego Plum.[1]
The song is pressed on a 10" dubplate, which is permanently fixed to a mini-USB record player, housed inside a specially made "black magnet box". The twenty-five owners of this item were encouraged by Psychofon to distribute their digital rips of the exclusive remix freely online for all fans and collectors to enjoy.[1]
