Contents[]
The 24 page, 7" x 7" Duck Stab!/Buster & Glen Notebook contains selected handwritten notes and lyrical sketches by The Residents, which were among a number of rough ideas collected by a member of the group in a box, and used in the production of the 1978 EP Duck Stab! and album Duck Stab!/Buster & Glen.
The book also reveals a diagram of The Residents' tape studio set-up, rough outlines of planned sequences for Graeme Whifler's unproduced Duck Stab! film (which would have featured Bridgit Terris in the lead role of Skinny), and the development of the lyrics to Snakefinger's debut solo single "The Spot" (featured in the book under its original working title "The Stain").
