God In 3 Persons Live (originally announced under the working title G3PTV)[1] is a video release by The Residents, featuring their live theatrical adaptation of their 1988 concept album God In Three Persons, released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 21st 2023.
The video (directed by artist John Sanborn) was announced and supported with an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign on May 4th 2022.[2] The video was filmed at a special performance of the show on May 15th 2022 at the Presidio Theatre Performing Arts Center in San Francisco, in front of a limited audience of crowdfund campaign contributors.[2]
Editing on the video was completed as of October 28th 2022; the video was said by Sanborn to be the "definitive version" of the show.[1] Pre-orders opened March 17th 2023. The video is also expected to be released to an unconfirmed streaming service in the near future.[1]
