Greener Postures is the second solo album by Snakefinger. It features production and writing from The Residents.

Background

This album was recorded alongside The Residents' Commercial Album. It was the last album Snakefinger would record with The Residents as his backing band, before forming what would become The Vestal Virgins. "The Man In The Dark Sedan" had been released as a single previously, featuring "Womb To Worm", which was recorded during the sessions, but ultimately left off the album. It is also possible that "Ups and Downs" was considered for the album.

"Golden Goat" was performed by The Residents during their Demons Dance Alone tour.
