I Know An Old Lady..... (or IKAOL) is a digital-only mini-album by The Residents, featuring seven short tracks recorded between January and November 1994 for the soundtrack to the Discovery Channel nature documentary series Hunters: The World of Predators and Prey. It was released for free in MP3 format to subscribers of Cherry Red Records' Residents newsletter on October 25th 2025.
The mini-album follows two other free MP3 mini-albums featuring outtakes from the Hunters sessions, Wood Snakes and Seven Cats, and is designed as a sampler for the anticipated release of "several hours" of Hunters soundtrack material via Bandcamp.[1] Unlike the earlier mini-albums, I Know An Old Lady..... does not appear to be themed around a particular animal.
