Ima Buddy's Totally Impartial Companion to Uncle Willie's Highly Opinionated Guide to You-Know-Who[1] (alternatively titled Ima Buddy's Totally Impartial Companion to Uncle Willie's Highly Opinionated BIG MAMAS) is a document compiled by noted Residents collector Ima Buddy (aka Kim Andrews) in 1992.

A personal companion to the 1993 book Uncle Willie's Highly Opinionated Guide to The Residents (which Andrews assisted Uncle Willie in completing; a derivation of Andrews' personal Residents discography is featured in the book), the Totally Impartial Companion contains transcriptions of lyrics to most of The Residents' songs up to 1992, some transcribed from the hand-written lyrics in the Cryptic Corporation archive;[2] it also includes other interesting artifacts, such as excerpts from the screenplay to the unfinished film Vileness Fats, and the stage script from the live performance The Mole Show.

The Totally Impartial Companion was a primary resource cited by webmaster tzoq on his long-running semi-official website RZWeb in the mid-1990s.[1] Much of RZWeb was incorporated into The Residents' "Historical" section on their official website beginning in October 2005;[3] many of the lyrics in the modern-day Historical still reflect their origins in the Ima Buddy document.

Held and shared privately by Andrews for many years, a draft dated November 27th 2021 was released freely to Residents fans in a post by Andrews to The Residents unofficial Facebook fan group on that day, in both Word and RTF formats.[4] Andrews has kindly permitted The Mysterious Spanish Ladies to reference and share excerpts from the Impartial Companion on this wiki.[5]
