Laurie Amat is a vocalist who has collaborated with The Residents frequently since the late 80s.


Laurie's first role with The Residents was as a backing vocalist on 'Hit The Road Jack'

She continued to work with The Residents as their go-to female voice until the late 90s when the group began to collaborate with Molly Harvey on a heavy basis.

In 1995 she joined Freak Show, a group of musicians selected by The Residents to perform their Freak Show album live.

Shortly after this she released her own solo album, titled "L'Amateur De La Vie", then in 2014 released an album with Timeghost,

Laurie collaborated with the residents again in 2020 during the God In Three Persons mini-tour.
