The Residents' independent record label Ralph Records issued albums and singles by a large number of artists in its peak during the 1970s and 1980s.

Below is a list of releases issued by Ralph from its founding in December 1972, until its official closure in 1989. The label has since had several revivals by The Residents, the most significant of which was a period between 2010 and 2014, when the label put out six new albums by The Residents; after 21 years of near complete inactivity.

Catalogue Number System[]

Ralph Records are catalogued in a relatively simple way. Each catalogue number features at least 6 digits. The first 2 are an anagram, most typically RR for Ralph Records. The following two represent the year the release was manufactured, and the fifth and sixth would represent what number product it was for that year. For example, The Spot's catalogue number is RR7805, implying it was the 5th Ralph Record product produced in 1978.

Initially, the 3rd - 6th numbers represented the year and month it was produced, but this was only used until the Duck Stab! EP was released in February of 1978. This numbering system was often returned to for archival releases, such as 'RR1174' for Not Available or 'RR0377' for Babyfingers.
