History[]
Metal, Meat & Bone - Six Songs Inspired By Dyin' Dog features six songs by The Residents inspired by the obscure 1970s Louisiana blues singer Alvin "Dyin' Dog" Snow, whose songs comprise The Residents' 2020 cover album Metal, Meat & Bone - The Songs of Dyin' Dog. The six tracks on this EP also feature on the CD release of the album, but not on the vinyl edition.
The standalone, limited edition vinyl EP was released on Psychofon Records on July 10th 2020, alongside the release of the album on Cherry Red Records and MVD Audio.
