PRESALE STARTED EARLY!! Happy early birthday Snakefinger! This was supposed to launch on Phillip's b-day (June 17th) but it looks like the news leaked so here it is! This July 1st is the 30th anniversary since we lost Phillip Snakefinger Lithman. To pay our respects we're putting The Residents' beautiful tribute album, The Snakey Wake, on vinyl for the first time ever. The studio album (originally released as a limited edition CD in 1988 by UWEB) will be on Side A and the live version recorded at the wake will be on Side B.
We have two EXCLUSIVE versions only available directly through us. A White and Sea Blue swirl vinyl edition of only 200 numbered copies with a free download and a Royal Blue with Black Splatter vinyl edition of only 200 numbered copies with a free download. Both are again in beautiful gatefold jackets designed by Luluweird. The first 200 copies ordered directly through us will get a nice mourning Resident embroidered patch. This is our first time working with MVD so they will have 300 exclusive copies on Cyan Blue vinyl (not numbered and no download card).
We also have test pressings available and a new Ralph Records bundle that includes vinyl copies of Snakey Wake, 13th Anniversary, and Renaldo & The Loaf's Behind Closed Curtains plus a download code for the out of print Snakefinger Live In Melbourne 1981 album. SHOULD BE SHIPPING IN AUGUST!!!
