Record Store Day 2018[]
Wednesday, March 7 2018, 11:44am
Record Store Day is an annual celebration of local independent music retailers, and as such often has some interesting limited edition releases.
Here's the full list but for our purposes, we're really interested in this thing: The W***** B*** Album.
"The legendary, unreleased pre-Residents album - as sent to Warner Brothers Records in the spring of 1971. The rejected tape was returned to the then un-named group's shared home, addressed to 'Residents' and a legend was born. Seminal, mythical, irreverent and unlike anything you've ever heard before!"
So... that's a thing.
Record Store Day is Saturday, April 21. Go out and support your local music shop, and maybe score yourself a piece of history.

Homer Flynn Interview[]
Friday, March 16 2018, 7:49am
Discussions Magazine has posted an interview with Cryptic Corp officer Homer Flynn, discussing the pREServed series of reissues. Here are a few words that Homer used in that interview: "the," "of," "most," "one."
Unfairly taken out of context? Possibly so. If you want, you can read the full interview here.
PLEDGE UPDATE[]
Tuesday, March 20 2018, 12:00pm
Yo Pledgers, Homer Flynn, Captain Doc of the Cryptic Corporation here -
Many thanks for being patient as your pals, The World's Busiest Eyeball Band, add the finishing touches to the I AM A RESIDENT! project. The Faceless Four was Beyond Blown Away by the unexpected volume and amazing quality of the IAAR song submissions, consequently the challenge of dealing with 197 songs was HUGE! But so was the excitement of finding new ways to digest, regurgitate and return this glorious material to its creators - YOU! But, undaunted, THEY climbed that Mondo Mountain and in the process created something that is both Achingly New and Oddly Familiar at the same time. And what exactly does that mean? - well, folks, you'll just have to wait and see, but it won't be long. These Potent Packages of Pure Perfection and Delight are soon to be Winging Your Way! Manufacturing for IAAR product is currently in progress and we will announce delivery dates for CDs and LPs soon. Hold on to your hats dudes and dudettes - THE WIND IS BLOWING! and it's coming your way!
But WHOA! Mon Capitaine, what about Intruders, you say?
Ah well, Intruders... Amazingly, while reinventing, assembling and putting the final touches on I AM A RESIDENT!, our covert crew was also recording Intruders - not to mention touring Europe last November, working on their Double Trouble film project and preparing for their American tour in April... WHEW! But it's all coming together and while the new studio album is running a tad behind IAAR, that same Wicked Wind will blow it up your butt all to soon! STAY TUNED. NEW RESIDENTS! The Poop is Poised to Pop the Pipe!
