March 15th from Psychofon Records: Bobuck Plays The Residents. Two colored vinyl editions of this reinterpretation/revisitation of some classic Residents tunes. Pre-orders are open now.
Over at Klanggalerie, they just released a new edition of Chuck's Ghost Music, and coming soon are two previously download-only compilations are coming to CD, Morning Music and El Año Del Muerto. And in... November?! That's forever away, but that's the projected date for The Wonder Of Weird Demos.
And at Cherry Red and MVD, it's just been announced that the next entry into the pREServed series is Gingerbread Man, with a 3-CD set (that includes Hunters) and also the original album pressed on vinyl for the first time. Those are coming out in May.
Correction: I had previously reported that the Freak Show pREServed edition was coming out on February 26th... but the date is actually March 26th. I don't know if I made a mistake or the date changed at some point... let's just blame me so everyone can move on with their lives. Sorries.

In 2008, The Residents began possibly their most ambitious project entitled The Bunny Boy. At its heart it was an episodic web series, with installments premiering on YouTube and the Residents official site three days a week. The genesis of the project was an old acquaintance of The Residents coming back into their lives after a long absence. They received a bizarre collection of videos of a man pleading for help to find his brother. The Residents recognized their old friend, and decided to help by retelling his story so that it would reach more people.
After The Resident's Bunny Boy studio album was made the story continued with more videos, and more songs being written and performed on stage. These songs were released as the limited edition CD "Arkansas" and the download only album "Ozan". Here they are. All together and on vinyl for the first time ever. All original artwork by Casey Howard and all hand-numbered.
