Night Flight was a visual arts magazine television series that aired on the USA Network on American cable TV from June 5th 1981 to December 30th 1988, before moving into syndication in 1990. Episodes originally lasted four hours each, and aired in the late night programming block on Friday and Saturday nights. The program featured music videos by both mainstream and alternative artists, interviews, B-movies, documentaries, stand-up comedy and animation.

In 2015, the program was revived on NightFlight.com, featuring episodes from the original series as well as newly selected short and feature films and curated videos from YouTube and Vimeo. In March 2016, an online subscription channel named Night Flight Plus launched, allowing viewers to pay a monthly or annual fee to access full segments from the original series as well as new, curated content. In 2018 a new iteration of the program began airing on IFC, with 15 minute episodes featuring highlights from the original series as well as footage taken from films and the internet.

The Residents have had a long association with Night Flight; on July 15th 1986, during their 13th Anniversary tour, they were the focus of a "video profile" on the program hosted by Rich Shupe. On June 5th 2021, the group's "streaming TV special" Duck Stab! Alive! premiered on Night Flight Plus. On the weekend beginning September 5th 2025, The Residents began a "takeover" of Night Flight Plus, with a new video profile featuring the premieres of three new music videos, as well as the premiere of Edwin Brienen's short film Metal Madness, and the streaming debut of Marie Losier's short documentary film Barking in the Dark.
