The Residents' Official News Blog was a news blog maintained by Big Brother of The Cryptic Corporation beginning in August 2003 (originally titled The Residents' Official News Blog and Website Wrapper and later The Residents' Official News BOG), following the company's purchase of the residents.com domain name from fan site RZWeb (now defunct).
The BOG became The Cryptics' (and thus, The Residents') main outlet for communication with their fans until the website's redesign in 2008.

Ralph America finds missing CD's
A few boxes of old ESD CD's turn up
Ralph America got a pleasant surprise last week when a few boxes of CD's turned up that had been missing since a warehouse move a few years back. Small quantities of now out-of-print ESD titles such as Wormwood, Fingerprince, and Eskimo will soon again be gracing the Ralph on-line catalog. Good opportunity if you don't already have them. I wouldn't piddle about too long if you want something from this bunch.
Dren also asked that I mention that postage rates increase today in the USA so the computer will have to be reprogrammed and tested for the processing of orders.

Next Mute Residents album set for October
The Cryptic Corporation and Mute have mutually agreed to launch the next all new Residents album in October instead of September in order to steer clear of the glut of releases already scheduled for September.
