Pale Pachyderm Publishing (also referred to as Pale Pachyderm Music) is a music publishing company founded in 1971 by Homer Flynn and Hardy Fox of Ralph Records, and operated by The Cryptic Corporation since 1976.
It continues to operate to the present day, exclusively dealing in music composed by The Residents.
History[]
Pale Pachyderm Publishing was formed in 1971 by Homer Flynn and Hardy Fox, associates of The Residents (then known as Residents, Uninc.). In 1972 they became a subdivision of Broadcast Music, Inc..
Pale Pachyderm has published and owned the rights to all songs composed by The Residents since 1972, as well as some early Ralph Records releases by other artists including Snakefinger, Schwump, Yello, Tuxedomoon, MX-80 Sound and Renaldo & The Loaf.
Under the BMI archives, Homer Flynn and Hardy Fox are credited for all Residents material published under Pale Pachyderm Publishing. The company continues to exclusively publish The Residents' music to the present day.
