"Praise for the Curse" is a song by The Residents, released March 6th 1982 as the sixth track on their album The Tunes of Two Cities (or Part Two of The Mole Trilogy).
Within the context of The Mole Trilogy, "Praise for the Curse" is intended to represent the "ceremonial" music of the fictional Mole culture.[1]
In 1993, an excerpt was featured on the CD included with the book Uncle Willie's Highly Opinionated Guide To The Residents; in 2024 it was covered by Italian musician Alieno de Bootes for the album Unconventional Residents III.
