Scene 20 is an incomplete sequence from The Residents' unfinished feature film Vileness Fats. The sequence, originally planned as an animation, would have featured the film's antagonist Lonesome Jack (Jay Clem) revealing his "master plan" to members of his rebel gang, The Bell Boys.
Left incomplete at the time of the film's abandonment in 1976, the scene would have explained why the gang appear disguised as meat in the following scenes. A short introductory scene was scripted and likely shot by the group during the time that the Cave set was in place in their Sycamore Street warehouse.[1]
To date, The Residents have not attempted to complete the animated sequence, opting instead to leave this part of the narrative unexplained in the shortened versions of the film seen on the Mole Show/Whatever Happened To Vileness Fats? VHS in 1984 and the Icky Flix DVD in 2001.
Official synopsis[]
Originally planned as an animation, Lonesome Jack reveals his Master Plan to the Bellboys in this unshot sequence.
The plan is a variation on the Trojan Horse, in which all the rebels disguise themselves as pieces of meat. Since the insurgents have successfully blockaded the town for several months, the villagers have had nothing to eat except broccoli which is of course grown in local greenhouses. Consequently, the meat starved townspeople are desperate - the plan can't possibly fail.

The below is an excerpt from the original Vileness Fats screenplay, transcribed by noted fan and collector Ima Buddy, and included in his 1992 document Ima Buddy's Totally Impartial Companion to Uncle Willie's Highly Opinionated BIG MAMAS.
