On April 1st 2017, Hardy Fox released 6 different singles through his digital newsletter, Hacienda Bridge, each single was an excerpt from a private project he'd been working on since 1982, entitled 'Black Tar & The Cry Babies"
The 'Season Of The Witch' album was intended to be a cover album, featuring pop lyrics over abstract instrumentals. The single released is their version of 'I Got You Babe'
Season Of The Witch was also the title of the first ever Black Tar release, a 17 minute long single from 2015.
