THIS is for Readers (subtitled The Wax and Wane of Charles Bobuck) is an autobiographical iBook by Charles Bobuck, long-time composer, keyboardist and producer for The Residents, published February 23rd 2016. It collects Bobuck's liner notes for his solo projects Codgers on the Moon, Roman de la Rose and What Was Left of Grandpa, as well as new notes on previous solo projects from the Bobuck/Residents catalog, and a selection of anecdotes and stories.
The original iBook edition of THIS is for Readers (only readable on Apple devices) featured inbuilt audio files to enhance the reader's experience; the songs were also featured on a companion CD, simply titled THIS. An alternate version of the book, readable on non-Apple devices, but lacking the embedded audio files, was also issued under the title THIS is Also for Readers.
