Notes From Ralph[]
"[The game] came from this guy Greg Easter[...] And, um... really, as I remember, Greg just kind of appeared out of the blue, and, uh... he was a very ambitious young guy, he had this great idea for doing a, uh... Mole... um... a Mole game. And I think it was based on musical notes, to some extent? Like, part of... part of the game was coming up with, um... ways that you could... um... play a certain sequence of notes and that would let you get through onto another level, or something like that. I don't really remember."
"I remember meeting with him once or twice, and he was an interesting guy. Um... but... you know, he never could... he never could get, uh... anybody at Atari or anybody to sign off on it, and, uh, and ultimately he kind of disappeared. And, uh... and recently he resurfaced in just about the last six or eight months. And he is in Finland now, and he has opened up some kind of a club. Uh, it's almost like it's a kind of strange environmental, uh... club of some kind. And... and, you know, we... we exchanged several emails, he would love to have The Residents there at some point, and maybe that could happen at some point, I don't know."

"There was a guy... who was one of those tech genius... kind of guys... And some computer company or something paid him a hell of a lot of money not to go any place, and just put him on retainer for a while. Anyway, he played around with this idea. You know, he put together... there is one prototype, I don't know whether The Residents have it or he has it... there was, you know, this little thing... it's pretty primitive... It wasn't a finished prototype, it was a prototype of, you know... the beginning of what this could be, and how elaborate, I have no idea, because... I don't really understand, you know, megs and rams..."
