Talking Light Live Chicago, (aka Talking Light Chicago, or TLchicago file) is the fifteenth of sixty-seven digital only live albums released of The Residents' 2010-2011 Talking Light world tour.
Differences from Other Talking Light Shows[]
The show notably features Bob performing his guitar parts more adventurously, and a high pitched voice modulator on the first half of 'They Are The Meat'
Also, the group performed 'Howard' for the first time in twelve years. Howard was a song included in the group's May 1997 Adobe Disfigured Night performances. The song was unreleased until the 2003 Kettles Of Fish On The Outskirts Of Town box-set, and was later performed here. Both versions feature vocals from Molly Harvey, although here they are pre-recorded.
The track had been re-released seven months prior to this, as part of a complete recording of the Adobe Disfigured Night show. The song was later retitled Perchance to Dream on the Talking Light Bimbo's CD, and has been known by that title ever since.
