Talking Light Live Tuscon (aka 'TLTucson') is the fourth of sixty-seven digital only live albums released of The Residents' Talking Light tour.
Differences from other Talking Light shows[]
The show opens with 3 minutes of Randy filling for time as Chuck fixes technical issues with his keyboard. Randy's voice is more rough sounding, like he's got a cold or something. This effects his vocal performance throughout the show, and there are occasionally technical hiccups from Chuck's system.
Also on this date The Residents debut 'Milton the Melted Man', playing it instead of 'Pudding in Disguise'.'The Unseen Sister' is 9 minutes long, 'Bury Me Not' is 6 minutes long, and the outro music is significantly shorter. As well as this, the monologues are performed with slightly alternate positioning.

Monologues[]
- ↑ "Hi! I'm Randy, uh, singer for The Residents. This is, uh, Chuck on keyboards, and this is Bob on guitar. Uh, it seems like uh, Chuck's got kind of a little problem here, so if you'll just be patient for a minute, Chuck is gonna order a new keyboard from Amazon, and we're gonna pay for, y'know, the really fast shipment on it, so it won't take long... But! for all of you, that are our long-time fans... [applause] Thank you, thank you. Well, I'm sure all of you remember, long-time fans, that there's always been four of us... well, I'm sorry to say that Carlos has retired. It makes us pretty sad, I have to say, but Carlos has decided that show business was just not for him. And so Carlos has gone back to Mexico to take care of his Mom... Meanwhile, that shipment from Amazon is getting pretty close... it won't be long."
- ↑ "Uh... well. I'm supposed to tell you who we are right now, but... I already did that. So, what I'm gonna do, is I'm gonna tell you that we're gonna play a few songs and tell you some stories, right here, in our little living room. Now, some of these stories are kinda spooky. So, you better be ready. Okay, this is the first one, it's called... The Talking Light."
- ↑ "Uh. I don't know about you, but I believe in ghosts. They've been there my whole life. There was Red, this construction worker guy, and I was working on a building with Red, and he fell from the twelfth floor, all the way down to the ground, and I found his body. It was all re-arranged in a weird kind of way, and from that time on, anytime that I got up high somewhere, like, on the edge of a cliff, the top of the Eiffel Tower, Red would appear, and he would talk to me in this nice soothing voice and try to get me to jump. And then there was this big glowing ball that landed on top of my head when I was stuck in quicksand in Crossett, Arkansas and inside of the glowing ball were all of these bugs and snakes and worms, and also there was the cut off head of a train conductor. It was weird. But there's also the Mirror People, the Mirror People. I'll tell you more about them later."
- ↑ "The Mirror People. The Mirror People. They've always been there, but it wasn't really a problem, until one day, I was shaving, and the room was all steamed up, and the mirror was all foggy, and all of the sudden I heard this voice, and it said 'Randy. I want you.' I said, 'Pardon me?' I looked around, but no one was there. I knew who it was, though; I knew who it was. Slowly I walked up to the mirror and wiped it away, and there he was, looking at me."
- ↑ "The Mirror People. The Mirror People. If you look straight at them, they won't talk to you. They only talk if you look away. And if there's someone else in the room, they won't talk to you. They've got their rules. They're always there, and they're always trying to get out and take your place. My wife, my wife Bonnie, is one; they got her! That's why I sleep in the garage now. Once, when I was a kid, I was in a barbershop... I can't go in those places anymore; that's why I shaved my head. But, I sat down in the chair, and I started looking at all those mirrors, and I just got all weirded out and jumped!... Then the barber stuck himself in the cheek with his scissors. My Mom cut my hair after that."
- ↑ "The Mirror People. The Mirror People. Okay, I know, it sounds weird. You think I'm crazy. So, now, I'm going to show you! See, it's a mirror. It's a mirror on both sides and... y'know what, you should be okay! You're far enough away. I think you're okay, but this is gonna be kind of dangerous for me. okay... He's there! He's there! I see him! I see him! He's there! Hi. I'm Randy. Singer for The Residents. Chuck over here on keyboards. Bob on guitar. We've got one more song for you, and this one is about a very strange lady."
