"Tornader To The Tater" is a single released by Gary Panter, produced by The Residents.

Background[]

Gary Panter first met The Residents in 1979, when he was asked to design artwork for What Wilbur?, Subterranean Modern, and Ralph Records' Buy Or Die series.

By 1981 Panter was approached to release music on the Ralph Records label, even going as far to record at El Ralpho Studios with The Residents acting as producers. However after production on the single was finished, Panter signed to Index, who released the single, rather than Ralph.
